Greetings from the Oregon Association of ESDs!
With the Oregon Community Summer Grant, our aim is to Equip, Encourage, Excite, Engage. The priority for the Oregon Community Summer Grant is to apply state funds in an attempt to close the gap for students who are underserved by our social systems, namely education. Community-based organizations (CBOs) can provide critical continuity in education, connection, and necessary supports for children, youth and families. This includes a range of options best suited for each youth and family that includes engaging enrichment, learning opportunities, recreation, social emotional learning, wraparound services, mental health supports, youth-adult relationships, and peer interactions.

We have good news! The Oregon Community Summer Grant Application is now open! Here are some tips for completing the application:
Review the request for proposals: it is posted on this website.
The application is similar to last year with a few small additions, such as uploading documents that will help to speed processes once the funds have been released (the tentative date the State of Oregon has given for this is May 15)
If you run into any technical issues or confusion that cannot be resolved with your own resources, please check our website for updates. If you still are not able to reach a resolution, please email us at OAESD@lblesd.k12.or.us.
