With the legislature in a holding pattern and in conversations with the Oregon Department of Education, it is clear that between the Department of Administrative Services and the state’s procurement process there will not be funds available for summer learning for 2023. We know this may be hard news to accept; we at OAESD are with you in the discomfort and difficulty.
We have shifted our efforts to advocate for funding for the summer of 2024 and beyond.
We understand this may put you in need of help maintaining staffing, programming, or other services this summer. We have done a little research and offer the following resource recommendations for additional funding opportunities:
